Freedom art: Full Circle photographic exhibition
17/06/2008 by Mr Shoe Wingtips.
Gautam Lewis will photograph the locations of his early childhood in Kolkata, India for a London photo exhibit coinciding with World Polio Day: 24 October.
The exhibit, entitled “Full Circle” will focus on Rotary’s worldwide efforts to eradicate polio, and will feature Gautam’s story, as a polio survivor from London who traveled to his birthplace of India to immunize children against the disease.
“Full Circle” will include a mix of Gautam’s childhood photos juxtaposed with new photos he takes in Kolkata. It will also include photos of Gautam immunizing children against polio by photographer Jean-Marc Giboux, interspersed with Jean-Marc’s photos of children being immunized in remote regions of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.
Full Circle exhibition will run between Oct 13th – 19th 2008 at the Menier Gallery, London.

My first passenger as a PPL pilot.
17/01/2008 by Mr Shoe Wingtips.
Yesterday, Wednesday 16th, the weather was sublime for January. The sky was clear, the wind was gentle and both myself, the aeroplane and one of my greatest friends were all free to do some flying.

Questions in the Air - My first profile
24/04/2007 by Mr Shoe Wingtips.
Questions in Air :-
Jonny Vale is a music and band manager. He currently manages The Charlatans & Mogwai for Creation Management. He was the person who first introduced me to the Music Industry by getting me a learnership with Jack Stevens for Hijack Records. I have known Jonny since we were 13 years old as we went to the same boarding. I shall always remember a great week I had with him when he lived in Madrid..
1. Who or what influenced you to have a career with music?
It was just a love of music. Its always been one of the most important things in my life. From my early teens I wore headphones constantly and would go to independent record shops every weekend. Read the rest of this entry »
